Porto pozzo sorge su un bellissimo fiordo largo 350 metri e profondo 4 chilometri ad occidente delle foce del Liscia. Frazione di Santa Teresa Gallura grazie alla peculiarità del suo territorio ha trovato una sua connotazione turistica originale. La zona umida delimitata dalla bellissima penisola di Coluccia, ricca di stagni che comunicano col mare rappresenta un unicum nella zona e riveste un particolare valore ambientale per la ricchezza della flora e della fauna: la lavanda e il papavero di mare, si distinguono nella fittissima macchia mediterranea e, massimo in primavera, la fioritura delle ginestre offre uno spettacolo di incomparabile bellezza. Ma la lunga insenatura con il suo microclima garantisce anche d'estate una tavolozza cromatica di grande suggestione e la particolare umidità del suolo assicura una sempreverde vegetazione di tamerici, mirti, erica e rosseggianti corbezzoli. Nella intricata vegetazione trovano ospitalità i nidi delle ghiandaie di mare e delle cornacchie grige. Nella penisola di Coluccia si può arrivare in auto, deviando a sinistra della Santa Teresa Gallura - Palau, poco dopo il bivio per San Pasquale oppure la si può raggiungere dall' isola dei Gabbiani, in territorio di Palau dal posteggio dietro le dune della spiaggia del Liscia superando l'arenile, fino ad incontrare l'istmo e il sentiero che conduce a Coluccia.La zona è rimasta intatta fino a non molto tempo fa e, grazie ad interventi realizzati solo nella zona denominata Conca Verde, aveva mantenuto intatto il fascino di un antico, suggestivo stazzo. Oggi si è trasformato in un dinamico accogliente centro attrezzato di ogni comfort.

Grey carrion crows and ocean roller shells nest in these waters and find a perfect habitat.You may reach the Coluccia peninsula by car, turning left on the Santa Teresa Gallura - Palau road, not too far from the turnoff for S. Pasquale. However, you may get there from l'isola dei Gabbiani, in the Palau area, directly from the parking lot behind the dunes of the beach called "Liscia". Continue right after the beach, until you get to the isthmus and the road leading to Coluccia. Until not too long ago, the area was untouched and in its natural state. Thanks to constructions built only in the area called "Conca Verde", it had maintained its fascination of an ancient and striking structure. Today it has changed into an active and fascinating center with all comforts provided.
